The center
is the most commercial area of Jerez. It surrounds the medieval quarter and
concentrates many shops of famous brand chains, stores and boutiques, as well
as the central market. People from the whole Jerez like come to the center for
shopping, go to the many tapas bars or restaurants or just for walking. Many public events take place on this area,
mainly at the open air, as flamenco shows, music concerts, exposition, Etc. Besides, the Villamarta theatre, a reference
for the culture in Jerez, is placed in the center.
